Coronation Street legend Jack P Shepherd stepped away from the bright lights of Weatherfield to say “I do” to his now-wife, Hanni, at Manchester Cathedral on Saturday (July 26).
Jack, 37, who is famed for playing David Platt on the ITV soap since 2000, proposed to Hanni Treweek last year while on a safari in Tanzania. The couple first met in 2017 on the set of the long-running soap when Hanni was working as a scriptwriter.
The happy couple were joined by crowds of friends, family, and Corrie stars for their nuptials, which took place at Manchester Cathedral. Former Corrie star Colson Smith (Craig Tinker) and Ben Price (Nick Tilsley) were his groomsmen as they donned matching black suits.
Jack’s on-screen mum, Helen Worth, was seen for the first time following her exit from ITV soap, after 50 years of playing Gail Platt on the beloved, long-running show.
On Sunday (July 27), Hanni took to Instagram to pay tribute to her new husband, Jack, and thanked wedding guests for sharing their big day.
The newlyweds shared a series of stunning photos from their big day, including a wonderful black-and-white snap from inside the cathedral.
Jack can be seen kissing the hand of his bride as she looks at him with a proud expression. In another photo, the couple share a kiss among their wedding guests as they throw confetti over the pair outside of the cathedral.
