VIEWERS IN SHOCK!!! EastEnders’ Joel star ‘floors’ fans with huge career update away from soap

EastEnders star Max Murray has stunned fans by revealing an exciting career development beyond his portrayal of Joel Marshall on the BBC drama.

The 18-year-old performer joined the series this year as Joel Marshall, depicting the on-screen offspring of newcomer Ross Marshall, portrayed by Alex Walkinshaw, and stepmother Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig).

Within a brief period, the teenage troublemaker has found himself at the heart of dramatic plotlines as he spreads terror amongst Walford’s female residents. This has encompassed falling under the influence of misogynistic online material and covertly recording himself engaging in sexual activity with pupil Avani Nandra-Hart (portrayed by Aaliyah James).

He also inappropriately groped a woman on the underground in the presence of his newfound mate Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall), and initiated a harassment campaign targeting Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) by revealing her previous Secret Cam photographs.

Max,the son of vocalist Gina Murray and grandchild of lyricist Mitch Murray, has evidently inherited their artistic genes. He used Instagram to announce the release of his latest track, ‘I Keep Fallin’ in Love.’

Posting an image beside the shoreline, Max penned in his message: “Hey everyone, hope you’re all having an amazing day! My new song I keep fallin’ in love is out now!.”

He shared: “It’s a song I’ve been holding onto for a bit, and I’m so excited for you all to finally experience it. No agenda here, just wanted to share and put a smile on as many faces as possible:).”

EastEnders’ Jessie Wallace, who plays Kat Moon, was quick to show her support, responding with a flurry of high-five emojis and a love heart. She was swiftly followed by Emma Barton, who portrays Honey Mitchell, who also showered the post with heart emojis.
