Next week on Coronation Street, Kevin Webster struggles to keep it together as yet another devastating blow sends him over the edge. Already reeling from his recent cancer diagnosis, the beloved Weatherfield mechanic has undergone surgery but now faces the daunting challenge of further treatment.

Kevin’s illness couldn’t have come at a worse time for his family, as his wife, Abby, continues to battle PTSD following the traumatic events of Mason Radcliffe’s murder. As Kevin returns home from the hospital, he quickly grows frustrated with his slow recovery. The reality of having to take it easy weighs heavily on him, making him feel helpless and sidelined.

When Ronnie Bailey stops by to take young Alfie to the Red Wreck for some fresh air, Kevin longs to join them. However, Abby insists that he must focus on resting. As Ronnie tries to help around the house by fixing a kitchen cupboard, Kevin’s feelings of uselessness deepen.

By Friday, Kevin’s frustration turns into despair when another crushing piece of news leaves him struggling to cope. Abby, who has been making strides in therapy, offers to skip her session to support him, but Kevin refuses—determined not to disrupt her progress.

Later, Tim Metcalfe, who has been a rock for Kevin throughout his ordeal, visits the garage to check in on his friend. But instead of accepting support, Kevin’s sorrow erupts into anger, leaving those closest to him worried. Will Kevin allow his loved ones to stand by him during his toughest battle yet?
