Coronation Street‘s Colson Smith filmed his final scenes yesterday after 14 years and nearly 1,000 episodes on the ITV soap.
The Craig Tinker actor announced back in January that he’d be making his departure this year, and now he’s all wrapped up.
To mark the occasion, Smith shared a photo of himself sitting out of one the Rovers’ upstairs windows, legs hanging over the pub’s name.
“CORONATION STREET I LOVE YOU, THANK YOU,” he wrote in the caption.

Plenty of his co-stars and famous friends sent him messages of support and love in the comments.
“You’re going to be missed,” commented Izzy Armstrong actor Cherylee Houston. Kirk Sutherland star Andy Whyment said: “Love it mate.” While Bethany Platt actor Lucy Fallon posted a broken heart emoji.
“The cobbles won’t slay the same,” added Smith’s Celebrity Big Brother 2024 housemate David Potts.
In his Instagram Stories, Smith also teased fans with a dark picture of a potential crime scene alongside the side eye emoji. The scene showed some police tape that read: “police line, do not cross.”

Smith recently explained that his exit didn’t feel “real” until he opened his final scripts, although he was excited to play out his final moments.
When Smith’s exit was announced, he said: “I feel incredibly lucky to have grown up in, on and around Coronation Street. I’ve learnt pretty much everything about life from the people who call it home. I’m excited to play out the exit story for Our Craigy.
“For Me, this is just the end of the beginning. I genuinely can’t wait to see what chapter 2 has in store for me. LONG LIVE THE COBBLES!”
