Sister Wives: Christine Reveals She & Kody Had S*x Around Kids!
Christine Woolley made shocking claims in her memoir about her intimacy with Kody Brown. She revealed that in 1998, when the family lived in Wyoming, ten people shared three rooms, leaving no privacy. Christine admitted that she and Kody waited until the children fell asleep before engaging in sex.
They tried to stay as quiet as possible. She even noted that Janelle did the same. Blogger Katie Joy highlighted the passage, pointing out Wyoming laws that make sexual activity in a child’s presence illegal. Christine insisted her kids were always asleep and unaware of what happened.
Christine Brown, in her book, reveals that she had an oxycodone addiction. The former sister wife explained that she had a surgery after which the doctors prescribed her the pain pills. She had never taken oxycodone before and did not know its usage. Previously, if something hurt, she took an aspirin or ibuprofen. Christine shared that just before Maddie and Caleb got married, she injured her knee and tore her ACL and meniscus.

So she had to get surgery. When Kody brought her back from the hospital, he didn’t help her. He did not explain how to take her medicines or what her after-care routine was. He didn’t give her any instructions, but just handed her the pill bag. On the third day after the surgery, Christine felt like she had the flu and was aching from head to toe. Her pain vanished when she took oxycodone.
She continued to take the medicines for a month and felt like she was on top of the world. Her daughter, Maddie, gave her a reality check, telling her she was a mess and that they all missed the real Christine. They asked her to figure out her deal and recover. After a point, she cut down her doses to half and ultimately stopped taking the medicine.
She used to cry in her bed after she stopped taking it, but her mom helped her through her struggles. Her addiction lasted only for a month, but she felt unbalanced for six months. She was not herself and wanted oxycodone, but resisted it. The entire situation made her angry, and she struggled to cope with it. Her kids loved her enough to bring her back to reality, and she will forever be grateful.
