Coronation Street has revealed Kit Green’s DNA plan ahead of Brody Michaelis’s big discovery.
The ITV soap recently revealed that Kit could be Brody’s biological father rather than evil thug Mick Michaelis.
While Brody is still unaware of this, Kit knows the truth and has shared it with his mum Bernie Winter and his girlfriend Sarah Barlow.
In today’s episode, Kit suggested to Lou Michaelis that she should do a DNA test to find out if he’s really Brody’s dad. “If Mick is definitely Brody’s dad, I’ll get out your hair,” he said before Brody interrupted.
Kit stopped Brody stealing alcohol from a delivery van and sent him on his way and Brody told Lisa Swain that Kit has been harassing him, but Lisa dismissed the claim and informed Kit.

Later, as Kit, Sarah, and Bernie headed out, they found Brody injured in an alley with a broken bottle of whisky next to him. Brody had a seizure and wet himself.
Sarah offered to call an ambulance, but Kit decided to drive him to the hospital. At A&E, Kit told the doctor Brody had been drinking before having the seizure.
Brody thanked Kit, who told him he has epilepsy and regularly wets himself, which Kit promised to keep secret. “You have my word, what happened stays between us,” Kit told Brody.
Back at home, Bernie gave Kit Brody’s cap, which she stole from his hospital bedside. “There’s loads of his hair in there,” she told Kit. “Doesn’t take much for a sample does it?”
Bernie begged Kit to send the hat off for a DNA test, saying: “Oh come on, Kit, this is a good thing. So are you going to send it off or what?”
Corrie star Ryan Mulvey recently told Digital Spy that his character Brody will soon find out about Kit being his dad. “That’s coming up very soon. I’m really excited for the world to see that,” he explained.
“Because obviously I think it’s getting [to the point] that every single person knows on the Street except for Brody! So it’s really exciting for that to come out. It’s definitely not a small secret when it comes out.”
