In Fridayās episode, Bernie faces a difficult interview down at the police station, where she comes under pressure over her history with Mal and why she threatened him shortly before the attack.
Celebrity endorsed makeupt she met MalĀ a few weeks ago, when he invited her up to his room at the Chariot Square Hotel. Mal has harassed her ever since, giving her a clear motive for the attack, but she firmly denies using violence to solve the problem.
Meanwhile, Bernieās son Kit Green seems troubled as he approaches his partner Sarah Platt to share a secret heās beenkeepingā¦

Confirming that he was to blame rather than Bernie, guilty Kit explains: āI didnāt kick him or hit him or anything like that. I grabbed him, gave him a shove and warned him off.
āHeās had a heart attack ā he would have had one anyway. I thought itād blow over, but Bernie doesnāt have an alibi.ā
When Sarah encourages Kit to tell his police colleagues the truth if the incident really was as minor as he claims, he replies: āIād end up losing my job. Weāve just got to ride it out.ā
