Coming Clean To Save Your Mother! | This Week On EastEnders

Walford is shaken to its core this week as long-buried secrets explode into the open and a devastating confession threatens to tear families apart forever. With Zoe languishing behind bars for a murder she swears she didn’t commit, the spotlight finally swings onto Jasmine — and what she admits will change everything.

It all begins with a desperate confrontation. Kat is determined to track Jasmine down, convinced she holds the key to freeing Zoe. But standing in her way is the calculating and coldly composed Chrissy, who refuses to give anything away without extracting a price. The exchange quickly turns ugly. Emotions boil over as Kat humiliates herself, begging for information about her granddaughter. Chrissy, revelling in the power shift, taunts and torments her — until finally, she gives up a lead. Jasmine was last seen working at the Continental Café in Peckham.

Armed with nothing but hope and fear, Kat sets off.

Meanwhile, Walford gathers to mourn Anthony at his funeral. EastEnders viewers know Anthony Truman’s death has cast a long shadow, but the grief of his father Patrick is especially raw. As Patrick stands before the mourners, his voice cracking as he speaks about his son — his pride and joy — there’s a sense that this tragedy has fractured the community beyond repair. He regrets never telling Anthony how much he meant to him. That regret will soon pale in comparison to the truth.

Across town, Kat finds Jasmine trying to keep her head down and focus on work. Jasmine insists she’s moved on. She doesn’t want anything to do with Walford or the chaos that comes with it. She claims she tried having a family once — and it didn’t work. But Kat refuses to give up. She reminds Jasmine that Zoe is sitting in a prison cell for a crime she didn’t commit. If Jasmine truly believes Chrissy is guilty, why hasn’t she gone to the police like she promised?

Jasmine falters. She’s overwhelmed, defensive, and clearly hiding something.

Kat presses harder, appealing to her conscience and her heart. Patrick is burying his son. Zoe is losing years of her life. If Jasmine won’t do it for Kat, she should do it for them. The pressure mounts until Jasmine can no longer outrun it. She agrees to return to Walford — but no one is prepared for what happens next.

At the wake, tensions snap.

Upstairs, accusations fly. Jasmine is confronted head-on: she killed Anthony and let Zoe take the fall. Jasmine denies it at first, lashing out and blaming manipulation, insisting Chrissy drove events from the shadows. But the shouting escalates. Kat demands the truth. She promises to protect Jasmine if she just tells her what really happened.

Faced with the collapse of every lie she’s built, Jasmine finally breaks.

Yes.

She killed Anthony.

The room falls silent.

Through tears, Jasmine explains she never meant for it to happen. She had come to reveal herself as Zoe’s daughter, hoping for some kind of reconciliation. Instead, she walked in on a nightmare. Anthony was standing over Zoe, furious and threatening. Terrified he would hurt her, Jasmine pulled out her phone and started recording. She thought the camera would make him stop. It didn’t.

When Anthony realised he was being filmed, he turned on Jasmine. Panicked, she fled into the kitchen. In a desperate attempt to protect herself, she grabbed a heavy salt lamp and struck him over the head. He fell. And he didn’t get back up.

It was self-defense — at least in her eyes.

But rather than come forward, Jasmine let suspicion fall elsewhere. She allowed Zoe to be arrested. She allowed Chrissy to shoulder blame in whispers and rumours. Her reasoning? Chrissy “deserved” it. Old grudges, twisted loyalties, and misplaced vengeance clouded her judgment. And now, the consequences are unavoidable.

When police arrive, Jasmine doesn’t run. She repeats her confession: she killed Anthony Truman. She’s arrested on suspicion of murder.

So, if you’re wondering where you can find her after she admits to killing Anthony — she’s in police custody, charged and awaiting her day in court.

Yet even in handcuffs, Jasmine insists there’s proof. The video. The footage she filmed that night. It shows Anthony’s aggression. It proves she acted to save Zoe’s life. The phone, she says, is in her black handbag, last seen at The Vic.

But when the bag is found, the phone is gone.

Suddenly, the narrative shifts again. Was Jasmine telling the truth about the video? Or is this another manipulation?

Zoe is blindsided by the confession. Just as she’s on the brink of freedom, her world is turned upside down again. She can’t accept that Jasmine would sacrifice herself — unless Jasmine is lying. In a shocking twist, Zoe tries to take the blame back, insisting she killed Anthony and that Jasmine is protecting her. But the details don’t add up. The police already have the murder weapon. Jasmine’s account is consistent. Zoe’s isn’t.

As legal teams circle, one name resurfaces: Richie Scott. Zoe refuses to leave custody without speaking to her solicitor. She won’t walk free at the cost of her daughter’s future — not without a fight.

Back in the Square, the missing phone becomes an obsession. If the video exists, it could mean the difference between a murder conviction and a plea of self-defense. It could shorten a sentence. It could expose lies. It could destroy what little remains of trust between families.

Whispers spread that someone at the wake took it.

Suspicion lands on Max, who admits he found the phone and watched the footage. What he saw rattled him. According to him, the video does show Anthony attacking. But rather than hand it over immediately, he hesitates. He argues Jasmine has caused chaos before — manipulating Oscar, terrorising Zoe, pushing people too far. Self-defense or not, is she a danger?

The moral lines blur. Does one violent act erase months of torment? Should she face justice strictly for Anthony’s death, or for everything else she’s done?

YouTube Thumbnail Downloader FULL HQ IMAGE In a shocking move, Max reveals  he disposed of the phone — dropping it down a storm drain to ensure it could never surface. The evidence that might have proven Jasmine’s version of events is gone.

Or so he claims.

As the week closes, emotions are raw and loyalties divided. Zoe struggles with the knowledge that her daughter killed to save her. Patrick mourns a son whose final moments were far darker than he ever imagined. Kat stands torn between relief that Zoe may walk free and terror over what awaits Jasmine.

And Jasmine? She sits in a cell, charged with murder, her fate hanging on a video that may never be recovered.

But in true Walford fashion, just when it seems the truth has been buried, another twist looms. A mysterious figure appears, claiming to know more than anyone realises. Secrets within secrets threaten to surface, suggesting Anthony’s death may have even more layers yet to unravel.

One thing is certain: coming clean was meant to save her mother. Instead, Jasmine’s confession has set off a chain reaction that could destroy everything she was trying to protect.

Justice, revenge, loyalty, and love collide this week — and no one escapes unscathed.
