CORONATION Street’s Jane Danson has shared a very rare snap of her son Sam as he celebrates his birthday.
Proud mum Jane, 46, who has played Leanne Battersby on Corrie for almost 30 years, couldn’t hold back her joy as her youngest child turned 16.
Jane – who has two children – usually keeps her kids out of the spotlight.
But to celebrate her son Sam turning 16, she shared a slew of photos of him.
In one he is seen towering over her, as she gives him a hug.
Writing next to the sweet snaps, the Coronation Street star: “Happy 16th birthday to my youngest Sam.
“The years are flying by. He is 2 years younger than I was when I started @coronationstreet , crazy!!!
“Love you mate.”
Jane shares her son Sam with her husband, Brookside actor Robert Beck.
The happy couple started dating back in 1999 and tied the knot in December 2005.
Sam is their youngest child, as they welcomed their oldest, Harry, in July 2006.
Just last month, Jane teased that she had “job security” on Coronation Street.

Her comment came after a slew of her co-stars have either recently quit the soap or been axed.
During an appearance on This Morning, Jane hinted that her character Leanne is going nowhere.
She said: “It’s the most secure job you’ll get in this industry. I never dreamed it would pan out so long.”
Jane then quickly added: “And even when it’s secure, it’s never secure. But I’ve been so grateful for it.”
The actress, who described the Corrie set as “home”, continued: “I never would have anticipated being there that long.”
This Morning’s resident ‘soap expert’ Sharon Marshall told her: “Let’s have another 30 years!”
Laughing, Jane replied: “Fingers crossed, fingers crossed!
Jane joined Corrie as Leanne Battersby in 1997, when the Battersby family made a huge impact on the soap, being dubbed the Neighbours From Hell.
However, she took a break from the role in 2000 as viewers saw the long-suffering barmaid decide to leave after a near-fatal run-in with Jez Quigley.
Jane rejoined the soap again in 2004 before having to take another break when she fell pregnant in 2006, but returned the following year, and has been there ever since.
The beloved British soap has been captivating audiences for decades.
