Natalie became best known to fans for her role as Alicia Gallagher on the soap.
She played the role for five years before walking away for good in 2015.
Now, 10 years on, she is making her return to soap with a stint on the Corrie cobbles.
She will play a character named Danielle who has a connection to Todd’s new lover, hunky scaffolder, Theo.
A source told The Sun about Natalie’s new role in Weatherfield: “It’s part of the shock twist in the Todd Grimshaw storyline with Theo.”
She will be seen on the cobbles for the first time next week.
As well as her time in Emmerdale, Natalie also appeared briefly in Hollyoaks in 2021.
In the Channel 4 programme, she played the role of D.S. Lexi Calder who was killed by Silas the serial killer.
Last year, she took on the role of Claire Walker in the Michelle Keegan-led Netflix drama, Fool Me Once.
As well as that, Natalie has enjoyed guest roles in Happy Valley and Boiling Point.

Corrie’s latest plot has seen Todd finally meet the potential man of his dreams.
Local workman Theo appeared to sweep Todd off his feet when they met in awkward circumstances.
Theo’s builder pal dropped a pole from a height which terrified cancer patient, Julie Carp.
Todd witnessed the commotion and whilst Theo was convinced Julie was faking a reaction, he was left stunned to learn of her illness.
Theo later colluded with Todd to take some flowers to Julie as a peace offering before the pair agreed to head out for a drink together.
But whilst Todd is hoping he can make a go of it with Theo – is there a big secret which could stop their romance from going the distance?
