CORONATION Street’s shock incest plot has come to an end – after Amy Barlow caught Ollie Driscoll cheating on her.
The secret cousins – who are played by actors Elle Mulvaney and Raphael Akuwudike in the ITV soap – have no idea they are related but began dating earlier this month.
Amy is Steve McDonald’s daughter while Ollie is Ben Driscoll’s son – and neither of them know that their dads share a biological father in Jim McDonald.
The Sun exclusively revealed the shock development was coming after Maggie had a secret affair with Jim back in the 70s.
Viewers have watched in recent months as controlling Maggie has sought to influence her family’s decisions and bend them to her will.
She started to manipulate grandson Ollie after he showed an interest in single mum barmaid Lauren Bolton.

But after steering him away from her, she was horrified when he ran into the arms of Amy – his own secret cousin.
So this week Maggie took action to reverse course and ensure Ollie didn’t embark on an incestuous affair.
She convinced Lauren to gatecrash his date with Amy last night in order to ruin it and spark his attraction again.
And today she put the final phase of her plan into action, ensuring Ollie and Lauren had a heart to heart in the backroom of the Rovers.
