In the latest episode of Sister Wives, fans saw many clips and footage from Christine Brown Woolley and David’s wedding. Likewise, TLC chose to show more of Kody Brown chopping down trees to escape his feelings.

But many fans are saddened as they see Garrison Brown at Christine’s big day. Some fans connect that Garrison’s passing is the reason for the major recap.

Sister Wives Recaps Because Garrison Brown Was A Big Part Of Season 19

On Reddit, Sister Wives fans discuss how they are sick of watching the same stuff, but in a different new season. First, a user says, “Did we literally watch a whole season with constant recaps, flashbacks to the same flashbacks they have shown the last 3 seasons.” They go on to talk about disliking the reruns that TLC is choosing to show. Specifically, Christine Brown Woolley’s wedding since it already had a two-part special after Season 18.

• One fan knows why Season 19 feels like a throwback loop. “It’s pretty clear to me that a large portion of this season was left on the editing floor out of respect for Garrison. They must have had to fill the empty time with all of the wedding arc. Yes, it’s not wonderful to have the same things rehashed, but out of respect for Garrison’s passing and the family’s clear choice to keep it out of the show, it’s more than understandable.”

• Sister Wives fans are suspicious things got really bad before Garrison’s passing. One person adds, “And that has me wondering what awful sh*t Kody was saying to Garrison. Of most of this season had him in it then you know da*n well it was about his relationship with his dad.”
