It is a much longer season than usual, and people are wondering how the show will honor his memory. But some fans aren’t waiting for TLC. They are banding together for a call to action with a thoughtful act as the first anniversary of his passing approaches quickly.

Sister Wives Fans’ Thoughtful Act For Garrison’s First Anniversary Of His Passing

Unfortunately, the world has been without Garrison Brown for nearly eleven months. It has been filled with many “firsts” for Janelle and Kody Brown without their son.

Likewise, many of the Browns have sent beautiful tributes to Garrison. But March 4 will mark one year without this precious person making new memories with the family.

Ahead of the first anniversary, some fans are banding together to show their appreciation for his life. Undoubtedly, Sister Wives fans have missed Garrison in Season 19. Each glimpse of him in the episodes is very bittersweet.

Upon learning about his passing initially, many people sent donations to shelters that give care to cats. Since Garrison loved his animals, it is a powerful tribute. Likewise, one Redditor invited other fans to show their support again this year.

They provided two different shelters that they personally will be contributing toward in Garrison’s honor. The first is High Country Humane: Your Community Animal Shelter.

Additionally, they suggested the SPCA of Wake County. Furthermore, the Redditor sweetly adds, “I will be donating in his memory as I did when he passed, hoping it somehow eases Janelle and the rest of the family’s heartache. Sharing in case anyone else would like to as well.”

Garrison Brown’s Legacy

Garrison Brown had three cats at the time of his passing, Catthew, Patches, and Ms. Buttons. His siblings took them in once he was gone.

However, the Flagstaff High County Humane Society and Ark Cat Sanctuary were two of the recipients of many Sister Wives fans’ donations. After his death, Janelle Brown posted that more than $13,000 was donated as a tribute to her son.

She was very blessed and moved that others chose to send money to help with something so close to Garrison’s heart. She knows he loved being a “cat dad” and appreciates that others see it too.

Many Fans Have Been Very Supportive Through The Family’s Loss

Having two main outlets that Janelle Brown mentioned made it easier for Sister Wives to express their condolences when Garrison Brown passed. The outpouring of love was overwhelming for Janelle. Furthermore, the Instagram post was an outlet for people to show their support.
