Hence, he followed polygamy, which was considered a gateway to heaven. Though it was illegal in America, he was spiritually married to the rest of his wives while he only legally married one!

After facing three splits, it appears that Kody has lost his faith. He admitted on the show that he believes he is in a state of “limbo” now.
