There is more violence ahead for Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) in upcoming Coronation Street scenes, but his attacker is unexpected.
Kit has been at the centre of a dramatic feud with Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton), who recently arrived on the cobbles.
It transpired that they had been friends growing up, but that Kit had let Mick take the blame for a crime he had committed.
Kit made a run for it after setting off fireworks inside a local shop, leaving Mick to be caught by the police.
With Mick having ended up behind bars while Kit went on to join the police force, it’s safe to say that tensions have been high between them since they became reacquainted.
Things only got worse when Mick worked out that eldest son Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) was actually Kit’s, after Lou Michaelis (Farrel Hegarty) embarked on a relationship with him while partner Mick was in prison.

In next week’s episodes, Brody is left feeling tense after receiving a message from Mick in prison, and Kit later returns home to find the teen smashing up his flat.
The furious teen reveals that he’s had a call from his dad explaining that he’s innocent, and that his murder charge has been a police stitch up.
Viewers will know that Mick really was responsible for Craig Tinker’s murder, after brutally beating him with a baseball bat, though Brody clearly believes his lies as he lays into Kit.

In a new spoiler video, Brody tells him that Mick is innocent, and that there are more criminals in the police force than in prisons.
When Kit attempts to explain that there is evidence to prove that Mick was responsible for Craig’s attack and warns that he is a violent man, Brody flies off the handle, charging at Kit and slamming him into a wall.
The attack is interrupted by the sudden arrival of Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) and Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), and Brody makes a run for it with his hoodie covering his face.
