Coronation Street fans think Kit Green could soon be found to be a ‘good guy’ after all in a twist involving his colleague Lisa Swain.

As viewers already know, the detective constable, played by Jacob Roberts, made his on-screen debut last May after Bernie Winter went on a mission to find her long-lost son, Zodiac.

When she found Kit, she posed as a cleaner to get into his house before rifling through his drawers. When she was caught red-handed, Bernie had to explain why she was really there, but Kit lied and said he wasn’t adopted.

However, it was later confirmed that Bernie had found her long-lost son, after he arrested her and she found out at the police station, and it’s fair to say the pair didn’t have the best of starts.

They’ve since seemingly made amends, with Kit recently referring to Bernie as ‘mum’ on her wedding day to Dev Alahan. It comes after he faced death, having been stabbed by childhood pal Mick Micahelis during his prison escape, and he found out that Mick’s son, Brody, is biologically his.

But another relationship of Kit’s on the cobbles is that with his policing superior, DS Lisa Swain. There’s always been a hint of rivalry between the two Weatherfield cops and Kit seemingly got his way recently as Lisa was put on desk duties following an incident with Brody in the cells.

But Corrie fans think Kit may end up turning good. As fans recently saw, Lisa reluctantly attended her last therapy session where she opened up to therapist, Floyd, telling him that she was sure there was more to her late wife, Becky’s, death than she was ever told and is worried that it was something to do with the corruption investigation.

Later, Lisa’s boss, Costello, was seen on the phone before leaving his office, Lisa was then seen sneaking in to do some digging of her own, searching his email to see if there’s any mention of Becky and was stunned to find a reqest from Kit asking for access to Becky’s file.

She was caught by Costello and soon after, she confronted Kit in the Rovers about his interest in her late wife. Once back home, Lisa Carla that she no longer trusts Kit and she can’t work with him any more.

But Corrie fans think Lisa and Kit could end up teaming up to expose what was really going on with Becky before her death. It comes as they discovered a spoiler and while it’s not clear it’s about Lisa and Kit as no names are given, they think it could be about them.

It reads: “Who discovers a secret that could change everything for a colleague?” Following the release of the teaser, which could relate to any of the major soaps, fans were quick to respond.

@swarlafan2025 replied: “Yeah deffo maybe it all starts off with this kit and sarah thing aswell. Said it before I bet kit and lisa team up to bring him down.”
