EastEnders fans have spotted a major spoiler for the show – and have discovered that The Queen Vic could be about to change hands.
The BBC soap recently posted a fun clip on TikTok involving actors Elijah Holloway, Aaliyah James, Laura Doddington and Sophie Khan Levy.
But eagle-eyed viewers were more interested in the video’s background, which showed an auction sign outside The Vic.
The clip was deleted soon after, but fans were left speculating about what this meant, suggesting that the Knights – the current owners – might soon sell up.

George, Elaine and George’s two daughters Gina and Anna arrived on the Square in 2023 in dramatic fashion, intending to help run The Vic with Elaine’s daughter Linda.
This new twist comes as a surprise, as the family, especially Elaine and Linda, were recently thrilled to move back into the iconic pub after the explosion in February left the building in tatters.

Of course, this auction sign could mean any number of things, and while it appears that The Vic will soon be on the market, the Knights might not decide to sell up in the end.
But this new video has got viewers talking online about which characters they would like to see potentially take over, if the pub is set to have new owners.
Predictions have ranged from Nicola and the new Mitchell clan to popular Walford couples like Suki and Eve or Kat and Alfie.

It was also recently reported that Jake Wood is set to reprise his role as Max Branning later this year, returning after four years away from the soap.
“Bosses are excited about what his character’s reappearance means for spicing up the plots,” a source told the The Sun.

“There is plenty to go at. Max has loads of unfinished business in the Square and is set to ruffle some feathers.”
Could Max’s return involve him becoming the new owner of The Vic?
