Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) teams up with Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) in EastEnders next week – as she desperately attempts to keep Shireen’s murder under wraps.
As viewers of the BBC soap know, Nicola was exposed as a killer during scenes that aired last month.
Zack Hudson (James Farrar) had discovered he was the father of Nicola’s teenage son Barney (Lewis Bridgeman), and was desperate to reveal the truth to Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian), who is under the belief that he is his real dad.
She was adamant to conceal her secret, and after her initial attempts to silence her one-time lover, she revealed that Teddy was quite an evil man who had blood on his hands.
Zack and his sister Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) were stunned by the revelation, but were blissfully unaware that Nicola is Shireen’s real killer.
If you need a refresh on who Shireen is, we have to go back to October.

Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) did some digging into Harry Mitchell’s (Elijah Holloway) past, and learnt that his ex-girlfriend had mysteriously vanished.
The story developed last month when the anniversary of her disappearance rolled around.
Shireen’s brother Asad (Aslan Amjad) turned up in Albert Square seeking answers about what happened to his sister.
Nicola managed to cover, but more danger lurked. Teddy had taken on a building project with Junior Knight (Micah Balfour), and it just so happened to be where she’d buried the girl’s body.
In upcoming scenes, she overhears a conversation between the men about the job, and Teddy is forced to tell her that he’s accepted the work.

Nicola pleads with him to pull out of the deal, but the advice falls flat and he asks Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) to get involved.
She begins to panic, knowing that her cover could soon be blown and she could end up behind bars if evidence points in her direction. Construction is about to begin, and she has to turn to using underhand tactics.
She summons acquaintance Benji (Carl Prekopp) – the man who buried Shireen – to her bar, but is later forced to ask Ravi for help instead.
Distracted by her predicament, she fails to appreciate the birthday bash that her family lay on for her, and offers Ravi £10,000 to do a job.
Nicola lies to Harry and manages to secure a customer’s van for Ravi…
