EastEnders has exposed Sharon Watts and Grant Mitchell’s scandalous secret, in the show’s latest episode.

Last week, Sharon and Grant had an emotional chat about their past and current struggles and ended up sleeping together.

Grant left Albert Square that evening after being rejected by Sharon, who felt guilty about having cheated on her partner Teddy.

In today’s episode, Sharon got a shock in the café when Bianca revealed that she knows about her betrayal, as Grant told her last week in the launderette.

While Bianca said that she would keep the secret to herself, she advised her to come clean to Teddy as the truth will always come out in the end.

Sharon then confessed to Zack that she slept with Grant and explained that she needed to tell Teddy, as she didn’t want Phil to find out the wrong way.

At the café, Sharon tried to tell Teddy the truth and apologised, but she couldn’t go through with it as Nigel was nearby and she was scared he would tell Phil.

She spoke about the situation to Zack in Harry’s Barn, admitting that she was more concerned about protecting Phil – but they heard footsteps, and realised that someone might have overheard.

Teddy invited Sharon round that evening, and she was concerned that he might have discovered the truth, but it was actually for a family dinner, with Barney home from hospital.

Sharon got worried when Teddy admitted he had brought her here under false pretences, but his secret was only that Harry had made the dinner instead of him.

Relieved that she hadn’t been found out, Sharon called Zack and explained that Teddy remained oblivious.

But Barney then cornered Zack in the café and revealed that he had overheard their chat and knew that Sharon had slept with Grant.
