CORONATION Street actress Sacha Parkinson

is pregnant with her first child.

The soap star, 32, told fans she’s expecting

2025 to be a “wild” year as she shared snaps of her baby bump.

Sacha, who is best known for playing Sian Power on the ITV soap opera, shared her happy news during a post shared to her Instagram over Christmas.

Captioning a post which reveals a Polaroid style photo of Sacha baring her baby bump, the soap star wrote: “Merry Christmas Eve, huns. I have a feeling next year is going to be a wild one.”

Sacha’s friends and followers including her former Coronation Street co-stars flocked to the comments section underneath her announcement to express their joy at the exciting news.

Brooke Vincent, who played Sacha’s on-screen girlfriend Sophie Webster, sobbed: “I love you all so much!!!” while Lucy Fallon, who is currently expecting her second child, gushed: “Congratulations!!!! Yayyyyy exciting news xxx.”

Former Corrie star turned Strictly champ Ellie Leach posted: “sooooo excited.”

Georgia May Foote added: “Omg!!! This is amazing! Congratulations!!!”

Sacha’s baby news comes more than a year after The Sun revealed the former soap favourite was engaged to her long-term partner.

The actress appeared on Coronation Street for almost four years before quitting in 2011 to focus on other roles.

Sacha made Coronation Street history during her time on the soap after being one half of the soap’s first ever lesbian couple.

Since leaving the soap, Sacha has gone on to land a number of other acting jobs and has appeared in shows including Waterloo Road, Mr Selfridge and Cold Feet.

Most recently, she starred in 2023 ITVX thriller Platform 7.
