Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) feels pressured by her older boyfriend in EastEnders next week – and it’s not long before word spreads
around Albert Square.
Recent scenes have shown the youngster messaging a mystery guy, which caught Barney Mitchell’s (Lewis Bridgeman) interest.
The man in question – Mason (Alex Draper) – first encountered Avani prior to the Peggy’s club crush.
Alongside his pal, the lads began chatting up Avani and Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) outside. Amy was shocked at their advances and brushed them off.
Since then we’ve seen Mason learn his girlfriend’s true age, after Barney struggled to keep quiet.
It’s safe to say that her parents Priya (Sophie Khan Levy) and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) wouldn’t be too pleased to learn about 18-year-old Mason hanging around their child!
In upcoming scenes, the new couple kiss at The Arches, but she’s stunned when he suggests that they should take things to the next level.
Not knowing what to say, or where to turn, she eventually confides in Lily Slater (Lillia Turner).
The girls catch-up over a McClunky’s, and Lily tries to convince her not to sleep with Mason.
Little do they realise, someone is listening in on their conversation… Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall)!
Later, Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) invites Avani round to No. 1 to play video games with Barney, though their night is soon interrupted when Priya arrives on the doorstep having overheard about her predicament from Tommy.
Will she tell the truth?
