During the week of September 30-October 4, Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) phone sends Daniel a text saying she will be gone for a bit.

Heather is never coming back, but he doesn’t know that yet.

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is pretending to be Heather because she knows exactly where the blonde lawyer is—at the bottom of the river where Sharon dumped her lifeless body.

Sharon is running on fumes now, making bad decisions based on input from a dead man, Cameron Kersten (Linden Ashby).

Eventually there will be an investigation into Heather’s disappearance, and Sharon is a prime suspect. She has harassed Heather and her family in public and it’s no secret how she feels about Daniel and Heather.

Daniel hopes that Heather is taking a breather to get away from looney Sharon and tells himself to relax. But by midweek he receives a message that breaks his heart.

It could be Sharon pretending to be Heather again, telling him that she’s breaking up with him and to take care of Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) while she’s gone. As the drama unfolds, Daniel needs a shoulder to cry on and there are lots of those in GC.
