Sharon Newman is certainly one of the popular characters on the daytime drama but lately we weren’t getting to see much of her. But, thanks

to the soap Gods, now we watch her in all her glory but how? For last two weeks, her character has explored so many horizons that those the

time she wasn’t around feels like such a distant thing now. But now, the way things are getting out of control, we wonder, what’s next for her?

Sharon, who has been hallucinating Cameron Kristen for a some time now has killed her daughter in law Heather Stevens in the previous episodes and has erased every evidence of her murder. Not only did she kill but also disposed of her dead body in a river. Then as a cover up for her crime, Sharon has been fooling her son Daniel with texts from Heather’s phone which she kept from the crime spot.

As the investigation has begun, she went on to try and frame Daniel. While everyone hoped all of this will end soon, Vail Bloom has confirmed Heather’s death by announcing exit. Now, what happens to Sharon?

Sharon Case’s Dream Sequence

Surprisingly the sequence which could be a dream sequence from Sharon Newman’s imagination has always been the sequence actress Sharon Case has dreamt of. Earlier Sharon Case who portrays Sharon Newman on Y&R appeared for an interview in the wake of her character’s 30-year anniversary on the soap.

During the interview she dropped hints about this deadly sequence coming ahead for which she was extremely excited. The actress mentioned it to be one of her forever dream sequences and how she was super excited to live her dream. She also added that she can’t wait for her fans to watch it.

Fans are Not Liking the Storyline

Although the actress felt lovely performing her the sequence, fans do not seem to like it at all. On Reddit.com fans have expressed their hatred for the storyline.While everyone was excited to see what Sharon has in store, given how the storyline is moving forward, it isn’t sitting very well with fans.

In a particular reddit thread, fans discussed how the only way they seem this storyline ending is by putting Sharon behind the bars. Fans have expresses sympathy with the character of Daniel who lost her love Heather, and with Lucy who has now lost her mom. Fans believe that the only the way to redemption is to pay for her crimes.

While some believe that Sharon is a leading lady and cannot be put behind bars, some suggest that it is possible that all of this is a dream, a bad one at that.

Considering how deeply fans are invested in the storyline and are rooting for her punishment, it will be interesting to watch what the makers come up with. The Young and The Restless has successfully built a hooking storyline for Sharon which is keeping the fans restless for the plot to unveil. I watched it at work and if my mom, sisters, and I went shopping we always made sure we were in a store with a tv. (Before recording was available) Now I DVR every episode. It was so……… much better with the Brooks family and Mrs Chancellor but times change. Even with how crazy some things are on this show, I have to watch it!
