The following article contains spoilers from an episode of EastEnders that hasn’t aired on BBC One yet, but is available to view on BBC iPlayer.
Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) is ready for his final act of revenge in EastEnders, and the Panesars are in huge danger.
The evil character escaped from prison earlier this year. When he learnt of Suki (Balvinder Sopal) and Eve’s (Heather Peace) plan to get married, he announced his plans to go ‘nuclear’ and stop their wedding from going ahead.
In tonight’s episode, the Panesars spent the morning embracing wedding prep traditions ahead of the big day.
It was a wonderful atmosphere, with Eve announcing how happy she is to be part of the family, and Suki smiling as she watched the other Panesars laughing.
Their morning was interrupted due to the arrival of a police officer, who confirmed they have reason to believe Nish is now in Walford.
Nish has been hiding out in a flat in Albert Square ever since he escaped police custody. The only Panesar who knows about this is Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury), who has been bringing Nish food and water in secret.
During a visit, Nugget listened as Nish revealed the next part of his plan. The teenager seemed apprehensive to commit to it, knowing he could face severe police consequences.
Nish then stood up and walked towards the front door, manipulating Nugget into thinking he’d hand himself in.
Losing his granddad to prison made Nugget agree to Nish’s plan. With that, he headed to a river and disposed of some items in the water.
Later, the police returned to the Panesars and confirmed they had received a phone call, which stated they had seen Nish near the river.
With the detective announcing Nish had more than likely ended his life, it left the family in a state of shock.
