CORONATION Street fans are sounding the alarm as they believe Cassie Plummer has a twisted plot up

her sleeve.

Cassie, played by Claire Sweeney, made her debut on the cobbles in 2023 as Tyrone Dobbs’ estranged

mother.

Since then she’s become a prominent figure in Weatherfield.

Her most recent storyline had her growing closer to one of Coronation Street’s most iconic characters, Ken Barlow.

After Ken experienced a serious fall, the Barlow family needed help but found professional care too costly.

As a result they hired Cassie to look after him, despite her lack of qualifications.

Cassie quickly established a bond with Ken, and their friendship seemed genuine at first.

But fans now fear that her intentions may not be as pure as they appeared.

Things took a dubious turn when Cassie discovered that Ken had won a significant £50,000 from premium bonds.

She clearly seemed excited by the news, and quickly suggested that he should indulge in a luxury holiday abroad, offering to accompany him on the trip.

Viewers have become suspicious of Cassie’s motives, believing that her newfound friendship with Ken may be a front for something more sinister.

Many worry she’s after his money and is using her closeness to him as a way to get her hands on his winnings.
