CORONATION Street star Vicky Myers left fans seeing double after they spotted her in another ITV favourite.

Vicky is currently dominating the Corrie cobbles as DS Lisa Swain, who has started a whirlwind romance with Carla Connor (played by Alison King).

The pair romped on Friday night after weeks of tension, with Carla finally admitting her feelings for her after a boozy night at the Rovers.

But prior to making her debut in Weatherfield, actress Vicky had made quite the career performing as a police officer.

In a post titled “Look Who I Found…” one Reddit user wrote: “Soaking a break from Corrie for obvious reasons.

“Rewatching the wonderful ‘Unforgotten’, and who should pop up, playing a copper too…can’t get away from this storyline!”

Attached was a photograph of Vicky playing an officer called Laura in the ITV mystery series during an episode in series four.

While the part was a fleeting one, fans were delighted to see her popping up unexpectedly.

“Very well done finding her, you are a bit of a Detective yourself,” one commenter wrote.

Others noted she had made several appearances as a cop throughout her career.

“She also plays a member of the police (not an officer but a member of the admin team) in The Long Shadow (although they did give her a silly wig for some reason).” said one.

Another added: “She was a PC in Platform 7 too.

“I slightly like to think the casting agents at ITV just have a file cabinet full of different people for different roles (Ant and Dec for presenting, etc) and she’s at the front of the ‘police’ folder.”

But now she’s cemented in the hearts of soap fans as Lisa, the detective who has been tasked with some of Coronation Street’s most dastardly crimes.

Her connection with Carla has been undeniable for weeks, but Carla was hesitant to let her guard down as she had never been with a woman before.

But on Friday night, she finally revealed her true feelings, with Lisa and Carla then spending the whole day in bed together as they finally took the next step.
