New developments rock the Panesar clan in EastEnders after a memorable New Year.
It goes without saying – it’ll be memorable for all the wrong reasons!
As we know, one of Albert Square’s most beloved couples – Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) are preparing to tie the knot next week – but the wedding won’t go without a hitch.
Suki’s twisted ex-husband Nish (Navin Chowdhry) has escaped prison, and is secretly hiding away in a derelict flat on George Street whilst he plans his revenge.
Little do they know, he’s also manipulating his grandson Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) into helping him.
The youngster is struggling to connect his Dadaji to the horrific murder of Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) at Christmas 2023, blissfully unaware that he wasn’t actually responsible and had actually took the blame to save Suki and the five other women responsible from imprisonment.
He hoped that she would keep his promise of not marrying Eve until after his death, but after learning that their wedding was full steam ahead, concocted a scheme to shut it down.
Next week, the residents are abuzz with excitement as they prepare to celebrate Suki and Eve’s joint hen do, but their happiness soon comes crashing down when the police say they’ve spotted Nish in the area.
Oh dear!
Fearing the worst, Suki decides its probably best to call off the nuptials but is boosted back into the spirit following a pep talk from Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter).
Elsewhere, Nish chats to Nugget and then watches the celebrations from afar, ready to make his first move.
