Viewers have long questioned Kody Brown’s closeness with Robyn Brown’s eldest daughters, Aurora and Breanna.

Some have wondered if they are being groomed to be sister wives or if he is just closer to them because he is always at Robyn’s.

Currently, Kody is down just one wife from four but he has admitted that some were not his top picks. His former first wife, Meri Brown was young love but there were problems very soon after tying the knot.

Kody’s former third wife, Christine Brown Woolley, was church royalty, which is why he married her.

However, aside from the fact he was not attracted to her, he said she had a great heart. Janelle Brown, his former second wife, had been married to Meri’s brother so they already had a great friendship with her.

Yet, there was a time when Kody was courting a young girl. It was detailed in the family’s bestselling book, Becoming Sister Wives: The Story of an Unconventional Marriage. A Reddit thread was started to discuss this and the OP was completely disgusted:

The Lies

Some Sister Wives fans felt that there were a lot of lies perpetuated within the book and throughout the series.

One person recalled Meri Brown saying, at a tell-all, that Kody Brown started dating this girl shortly after they got married.

Furthermore, they wanted to know how old this underage girl was when Kody first started dating her and why she called off the wedding.

Christine Brown Woolley’s complete lack of self-respect was also noted. Another added this:

• They have lied so much who knows what is true and what isn’t.

There was also the shock that the book came out in 2012 yet they still kept the courting a minor in it. Guess they really have no shame.
