Corrie fans will know that Paul came clean to his family about Kel’s abuse last week, after Bernie and Gemma found sickening pictures while looking for the stolen laptop at the paedo’s flat.
The shady mother of two was heartbroken to discover the horrific evidence that her ex Kel abused Paul as a boy after discovering Kel was behind the series of burglaries on the cobbles.
Realising that Kel had managed to get access to Billy’s diary – and had known when the home owners would be out – Bernie and Gemma broke into Kel’s flat to search for Daniel’s stolen laptop.
But the pair were sickened to find more than just a laptop at the flat as they stumbled upon disgusting pictures of children scattered around Kel’s flat.
Paul was horrified to have the truth come out, but opened up to them about his traumatic childhood at the hands of Kel.
And in an upcoming episode, Paul is anxious about the upcoming police interview.
The victim is in part reassured when David bravely opens up about his own trauma with Josh.
Paul later returns to work and shocks the factory staff when he tells them the police want to talk to him about being abused as a child.
Billy will avoid Christmas decorations knowing that they trigger awful memories of Paul – much to Sean’s dismay.
But things seem to be looking up as Paul organises a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and announces he’s sick of being haunted by the past.
However, after his interview with the police, Paul tells Billy, Bernie and Chesney that Kel will probably be released on the grounds of flimsy evidence.
A furious Bernie takes matters into her own hands, angrily scrawling ‘paedo’ under the picture of Kel on the security team noticeboard.
