Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) feels paranoid in upcoming episodes of EastEnders as she realises son Tommy (Sonny Kendall) has been left alone with his twin brothers.
Last year, Kat and Tommy were involved in a storyline that looked at child-parent abuse. It saw Tommy lose control of his emotions multiple times and more often than not, it involved him hurting Kat, Alfie (Shane Richie), or the twins, Bert and Ernie.
Because Bert and Ernie weren’t safe under the same roof as Tommy, he ended up living with Zack Hudson (James Farrar), a registered foster carer.
While Tommy has made progress, future instalments of the BBC One soap will show Kat still feeling somewhat on edge around her son.
Following a comment from Mo (Laila Morse) of all people, Kat ponders over Tommy’s recent outburst. In the café, she welcomes Tommy for a chat and together, they attempt to put aside their differences and move forward.
However, Kat is left in a panic when she returns to the flat and finds Mo has left Tommy alone with the twins. Once the young lad senses her lack of trust in him, Tommy shuts down.
A while later, Kat realises her mistake and apologises to Tommy. She gifts him a new games console and he eagerly boots it up so he can chat to his new friend.

In the week, Tommy’s mysterious online friend causes Kat concern.
After trying to read their messages, Kat speaks to Tommy about it, and he eventually opens up about his new pal.
But is all as it seems?
