**Jack and Chad Discover the Mystery Woman’s Location! A Dying Everett Heartfelt Goodbye to
Stephanie**
Jack and Chad finally locate the mysterious woman they’ve been searching for. Meanwhile, at the Salem
Inn, Stephanie and Jada hover over Bobby’s weak body. His pulse is faint, and his eyes are barely open.
Jada finds a pill bottle and asks about the dosage. Bobby murmurs that he didn’t take the pills. Struggling, Bobby opens his heavy eyelids as Stephanie pleads with him. Everett, sitting at the DEA office desk, smiles. Connie eliminated Bobby from her life and can now focus on making Stefan and Gabby pay. She’s eager for BB’s revelation that Stefan slept with AA. When Ava enters, Connie leaps up to make friends, but Ava looks at her with contempt. Connie leaves upon learning Gabby and Stefan are out for the day.
At the Bistro, Gabby learns over the phone that Rafe hasn’t changed. Apologizing to Stefan for not focusing on their anniversary, Gabby explains she needs to focus on her unconscious brother and manage the department while searching for Abigail. As they toast to Rafe’s recovery, they discuss Stefan’s restaurant business, started to run drugs for Clyde. Gabby questions Stefan about his relationship with Ava, and Stefan reluctantly admits it was AA’s idea, and they kissed to keep their cover. Gabby asks if it was just one kiss, and trembling, Stefan says no.
At The Spectator, Jack informs Chad that the video has been enhanced. They can now see the mysterious woman more clearly, although her face remains obscured. Chad points out clues in the room. Stephanie sits with Everett at the Salem Inn while Jada makes a call for assistance. Everett, his voice dropping to a whisper, regrets not making it back to Stephanie. As his head bobs and eyes close, Stephanie weeps. Jada checks his pulse, apologizing for arriving too late. The women wonder what Everett meant by not taking the pills. Jada dons latex gloves, hearing sirens outside, and suggests they start with the basics.
Jada reads a letter from Bobby to Stephanie, revealing he stabbed Rafe. Stephanie cradles Everett’s head as Jada continues reading. The letter states Bobby has nothing to live for without Jada, hoping it grants her a promotion. The evidence of his guilt includes Connie’s bloody gloves hidden in a cabinet. Melinda walks into the DEA office, receiving a chilly reception from AA. Melinda reminds her they are now on the same side, and there might be hope if AA can move past Kristen’s death. Ava recalls Connie’s apology for blaming her for Lee’s death.
At the Bistro, Stefan tells Gabby he kissed AA twice to maintain their cover. Gabby introduces Stefan to her new assistant, Connie, who distracts herself by wandering the restaurant. After obtaining AA’s signature on documents, Connie departs, and Gabby promises Stefan to forget about the kisses. As they embrace, Chad notices a billboard in the video, revealing a Missouri area code linked to Clyde Weston’s residence. They rush to the location.
At the Salem Inn, attendants bag Everett’s body. Jada collects the bloody gloves as evidence. Bobby’s letter apologizes for harming everyone, especially Everett, hoping they can now rest easy. Jada finds Everett’s phone, discovering he attempted to call for help but didn’t press send. Stephanie believes Everett tried to get help but was too weak. Jada and Stephanie hold hands tightly, reflecting on the tragedy.
