SHONA Platt is injured following a horror car accident in upcoming
Coronation Street scenes.
Played by Julia Goulding, Shona first appeared in 2016, known as Shona Ramsey at the time.

She would later tie the knot with David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) in 2019.
Now, Shona finds herself in mysterious circumstances – while not fully confiding in David.
David tells Shona that she’d better sleep on the sofa in scenes yet to air.
However, as she beds down for the night, Shona receives a text.
Next, she taps on a hotel bedroom door – but who has she come to see?
She sneaks back into No.8 clutching an injured arm.
And later, Shona lies to David by claiming she fell down the stairs in the night.
This, in turn, she says ended up breaking her arm in two places.
Shona later confesses to the truth about her injured arm to Adam (Samuel Robertson).
It transpires she was almost run over by a car linked to Debbie’s (Sue Devaney) stolen car.
The mystery deepens when David finds Shona’s coat in the wheelie-bin, bloodied and torn.

When Shona heads out to the bin, she places a bag of rubbish over her torn coat to conceal it.
After his earlier discovery, David queries what happened.
To which Shona responds she ruined it when she fell down the stairs.
But is David convinced?
