Coronation Street legend Brooke Vincent has sent fans’ hearts soaring after reuniting with popular co-

star Sacha Parkinson.

Brooke and Sacha played iconic couple Sophie Webster and Sian Powers, who’s turbulent relationship

captured viewers’ hearts from 2010 to 2011.

The pair began dating in secret after sharing a kiss, but they were soon discovered by a horrified Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor).

In late 2011, Sophie and Sian agreed to get married, though things took a dramatic turn when Sophie got cold feet at the altar.

After a long chat, Sian agreed to give Sophie another chance, until she heard Sophie talking to Amber Kalirai about a kiss they had shared several months before.

Heartbroken Sian then called it quits with Sophie before leaving Weatherfield altogether.

13 years later, actresses Brooke and Sacha have reunited, with Brooke taking to her Instagram Stories to share a snippet of their day out together.

Sharing a snap of Sacha on the train, Brooke wrote that she had, ‘this one in tow’.

This isn’t the first time the pair have spent time together in recent months, with Brooke previously sharing a sweet picture of them enjoying a night out together, seemingly in good spirits.

Reflecting on their characters’ journey, she referred to Sacha as, ‘The one that got away,’ alongside several broken heart emojis.

Since leaving Coronation Street, Sacha has starred in a number of projects, including TV series’ Mr Selfridge and Cold Feet.

Brooke continued to play Sophie Webster until 2019, when she left the show to have her first child.

Earlier this year, she also reunited with her on-screen family, Sally Metcalfe actress Sally Dynevor and Rosie Webster star Helen Flanagan.

The trio were pictured together outside The ABC Dome in Manchester in January.
