Ken, who has been played by Bill Roache for the past 64 years, was upset to become so dependent after the accident.
Yasmeen came to visit him in hospital and receive an update on his condition.
While fans anxiously listened to hear what the doctors told her, they couldn’t help but notice another character who took centre screen during the pivotal moment.
One person took to social media to point out the overwhelming presence of a random man in A&E with a bandaged wrist, joking: “And the British Soap Award for Best Actor in a Non-Speaking Role goes to…Man in A&E With a Sore Wrist!”

Another added: “Stole the scene!”
A third admitted: “I was so distracted by ‘Arm Injury Guy’.”
Others seized the opportunity to make a pun, laughing: “Gotta hand it to him!”

“It’s minor in the scheme of things, but we will be admitting him – for 48 to 72 hours.”
