This the character is due to have a dramatic exit from EastEnders, but producers have kept quiet about what that will be.

However, viewers have started speculating that it will involve Cindy Beale.

As a child Bobby had anger issues, and in a moment of horrifying violence bashed his older sister Lucy over the head with her jewelry box, killing her.

His adoptive mother Jane discovered the young boy in the aftermath and tried to cover up his crime.

However, the 11-year-old eventually confessed, and was jailed for three years.

He returned to Walford in 2019 after serving his sentence, but had to work hard to convince the other villagers that he had changed his ways.

Bobby managed to reintegrate into the community for a while before Lucy’s mum Cindy Beale returned to EastEnders in 2023.

This sent him into a spiral as all the guilt he felt for taking a life as a child was dredged up again.

Another agreed: “And Bobby is leaving. let’s put two and two together.”

A third added: “RIP Bobby, I guess.”

When the star decided to leave EastEnders, a source told the Sun: “Clay’s a talented actor and he’s ambitious.

“He was never going to stay in EastEnders forever. He’s loved playing Bobby but he became an actor to play all kinds of roles and he wants to do that.

“The door is being left open but for now it’s a definite goodbye.”
