SHOCKING NEWS!!! gone missing Confused EastEnders fans claim huge character has ‘disappeared’ from the Square saying ‘are they recasting her?’

EASTENDERS fans have been left baffled by the “disappearance” of a huge character from Albert Square.

Lexi Pearce, played by Isabella Brown, is the young daughter of the late Lola Pearce [Danielle Harold].

Earlier this year Lexi lost another parent following Lola’s tragic death to terminal cancer last year.

Her dad Ben Mitchell [Max Bowden] ended up in prison for fraud in March.

Now concerned fans have asked if the character of Lexi is being recast following a long absence on screen.

One wrote: “I’ve only just noticed recently that we haven’t seen Lexi in what feels like months. When do you reckon we will see her back on our screens?”

Someone commented: “They’re probably recasting her.”

Pointing out that the character of Lexi is around 11-years-old, someone else reasoned that young actors after often not seen for large periods of time.

They wrote: “It’s not unusual for the young cast to disappear for awhile, I think you only see them if it is part of the story line, if not you just don’t.”

Last month The Sun revealed iconic character Phil Mitchell [Steve McFadden] – who is Lexi’s grandfather – will battle suicidal thoughts over Christmas after feeling abandoned by his family.

Someone else commented: “I imagine we’ll see her around Christmas time especially with the upcoming Phil storyline.”

EastEnders sees Jay Brown beg Ben Mitchell to let him see Lexie after bombshell revelations

And it seems Phil’s brother Grant may come to his rescue as Ross Kemp was last week seen leaving the EastEnders set – two years after the character appeared in Walford.

During a recent This Morning interview, Alison Hammond pressed Ross about the rumors, asking: “What is going on, are you going back for the 40th anniversary? Tell us what’s going on.”

Ross responded cryptically, saying: “I can tell you nothing.”
