CORONATION Street’s Kimberly Hart-Simpson revealed her mum has been rushed to hospital in a sad
post today.
Kimberly, 37, shared a heartbreaking photo of her mother in her gown as she stood at the end of her bed.

Despite the emotional circumstances, she brought some humour to her caption, writing: “Guys….Don’t ask if my mum ever wants to play out again. She is grounded!”
The actress added: “I’m am saying this with humour as it’s my way of coping. But it’s also sad. And I just had to wash her teeth in a sink.”
She did not publicise the reason for her mother’s hospitalisation.
Kimberly is set to make a brief return to Corrie two years after her character Nicky Wheatley left Weatherfield.
But the star was recently left dealing with a heartbreaking family loss in private and took to Instagram to reveal she was attending her aunt’s funeral.
Sharing a photo of the order of service in April, Kimberly wrote: “Today we said a goodbye to my Auntie.
“Whilst she went on to say hello again to others.”
Earlier that month, the actress gave away that she would be making a surprise comeback to the ITV soap.
She dropped some hints on social media that she was back filming after she began following Corrie stars Vicky Myers, Callum Lill and Channique Sterling-Brown.
The actors, who play Ds Swain, Joel Deering and Dee-Dee Bailey, have never appeared on the soap with Kimberly before, meaning she must have met them while being back on set.

And it has since been confirmed that she will indeed be back on our screens soon.
While the details of her return plot are underwraps, it is believed it will be in connection to her character’s pal, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).
Daniel developed up an unexpected friendship with Nicky after enlisting her services following his wife Sinead Tinker’s death, with Nicky looking very similar to his late spouse.
