Lulu’s certainly had her share of shocks since she woke up from her coma on General Hospital. There’s learning that Dante moved on with Sam who, in turn, died giving Lulu a liver transplant. There’s seeing Rocco all grown and learning Charlotte’s vanished into the ether with Valentin. Then there’s the fact that the villainous Cyrus is her uncle, brother Nikolas is in prison, dad Luke is dead and nephew Spencer has a son, Ace… and supposedly died after disappearing beneath the waters!

Lulu, understandably, is having a tough time digesting all of this — but what if she doesn’t have to? Because Lulu’s reaction to Laura telling her about Spencer’s “death” is much like our own. She just couldn’t believe that he’d disappear without a trace. And frankly, neither can we! No body, no death.

So what if Lulu’s awakening is just what we need to finally track Spencer down? Back when Nicholas Alexander Chavez first left, the plan didn’t seem to be for Spencer to be gone forever. That changed a bit when we learned the talented actor wouldn’t be coming back, but that doesn’t mean Spencer has to stay dead forever.

Lulu, before her coma, was a pretty darn good investigative journalist and she’s having a tough time believing Spencer’s gone. So what if, after she settles back into Port Charles life a bit, she decides to start digging? She could look into what happened and maybe, just maybe, find out what really happened to Spencer. And, more importantly, she could find him alive, wherever he is, and bring him home!

The timing might not be great for Trina, of course, if she and Kai keep thawing and end up growing a whole lot closer. But honestly, that could also be another hint that Spencer’s soon coming back. Lost loves nearly always return as soon as a soap character starts moving on!
