Former Coronation Street star Lucy-Jo Hudson has addressed her relationship with ex-husband Alan Halsall.
The pair first met on the set of Corrie while playing Katy Harris and Tyrone Dobbs, and began dating in 2005.
They went on to marry in 2009 and welcomed daughter Sienna-Rae in 2013, before announcing their divorce in 2018 after nine years of marriage.
During a recent appearance on Good Morning Britain, Lucy-Jo opened up about her relationship with Alan and how she navigated his recent stint on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.

The actor said “it’s a difficult situation” given she’s now with new partner Lewis Devine, adding: “We spoke about what do we do in the situation, because he’s [Alan’s] away. He’s in Australia.
“It was important to be there for Sienna and sit down and watch it with her. It was so she could enjoy it with someone as well, and the highs and the lows were there for her. So she loved it, really proud. He did great.”
While Alan was in the jungle, tabloid rumours claimed that Lucy-Jo would be voting for her ex to go through the Bushtucker Trials.
However, Lucy-Jo was quick to shut down the speculation, writing on Instagram: “First of all, me and my ex have been divorced seven years. I actually can’t believe it’s a topic of conversation, because it’s pretty boring now.”
She went on to say that she and Alan share their daughter “50/50” and are “constantly communicating” in order to give her the best life possible, adding that she and Lewis would be sitting down with Sienna to watch Alan in the jungle.
