EastEnders viewers have been left fearing a fan favourite has been killed off as they noticed key details in
pictures of filming for a shock Christmas funeral.
The Carter family looked distraught as they gathered for a funeral in snaps taken of filming for the soap
this week.
But fans panicked that Linda, played by Kellie Bright, was the character who had died as they noticed that she was nowhere to be seen in the pictures.
A detail from the pictures which stuck out to fans was that many of the cast were sporting accessories in Linda’s favourite colour, bright pink.
The funeral also saw the return of Linda’s children Nancy (Maddy Hill) and Lee (Danny Hatchard), which sparked further concern with fans.

Discussing her character Linda Carter giving birth on the BBC soap, the actress said: ‘I had to act the birth of my telly baby and I was nine months pregnant at the time.’
Revealing that she didn’t feel comfortable pretending to push whilst she was nine months pregnant, Kellie added: ‘I was like I can only do so much.’
‘You’re not going to be able to film me because I can’t push. I can’t pretend to push. I don’t think I feel comfortable doing that.’
She also opened up about her son receiving an Education, Health and Care plan and admitted it has been a big learning curve for her.
