Upcoming episodes of EastEnders will give soap fans an important update on Nish Panesar.

Nish died in dramatic scenes a few weeks ago, when he showed up to ruin ex-wife Suki’s wedding to Eve Unwin. During a tense altercation, Ravi pushed his father to his death.

While Suki and Eve survived the ordeal, the family has been reeling in the wake of Nish’s death, particularly grandson Nugget who was helping him hide out in Walford.

Nugget’s relationship with the Panesars has been strained ever since, even moreso since witnessing Ravi and Denise sharing a kiss as their secret relationship continues.

Upcoming scenes see Ravi flirting with Denise, who challenges him to find somewhere for them to spend time together without having to look over their shoulders.

Nish comes up in conversation between Ravi and Nugget when they broach the subject of scattering his ashes.

Ravi manages to get No.41 to himself so he can spend the evening with Denise, giving Priya Nandra-Hart cash to take their daughter Avani out for a spa treat.

But Denise and Ravi’s relationship is set to be exposed in upcoming explosive scenes. Will Denise end up with Ravi or Jack Branning?

That’s something fans of the show will get to decide in an interactive episode for EastEnders‘ 40th anniversary celebrations.

Executive producer Chris Clenshaw said earlier this month: “We’re all so excited to give our audience their first ever chance to decide how one of our big storylines plays out. Their votes will determine whether Denise picks Jack or Ravi, with the outcome being revealed as part of our live episode.”
