EastEnders is set to explore Denise Fox’s guilt after Nish Panesar’s dramatic arrest.
This week, The Six feared for their freedom after Nish found out that it was Linda who killed Keanu on Christmas Day,
and the group had covered up the crime ever since.
Nish was keen to strike a deal with ex-wife Suki in exchange for his silence, and in a shocking twist, they agreed to get back together – with Nish taking the blame for Keanu’s death.
Suki secretly planned to cut all contact with Nish once he was in prison, but Nish overheard her conversation with Stacey, and later revealed that he wasn’t handing himself in after all.
In Thursday’s tense Halloween episode (October 31), Nish turned violent with Suki when she stood up to her abusive husband and said that she had never loved him.
Thankfully, she was saved by Avani, Nugget and Stacey arriving, and Avani begged her grandad to set Suki free and do the right thing
Nish decided to face up to his sins and, after a terrifying stand-off with The Six in The Vic, he phoned the police and confessed to Keanu’s murder.
He was questioned and was able to recall all the specific details about the death, so Nish was arrested and left Walford in a police car – in the character’s supposed exit scenes.
It seems that The Six are now in the clear, but in scenes that will air next week, the women are struggling with the events of Halloween – especially as Nish wasn’t actually responsible for Keanu’s death.
Denise in particular feels guilty when she sees that Nish’s imprisonment has had a devastating impact on his grandchildren Avani and Nugget.

She shares her feelings with Stacey, but she tries to talk her round and reasons that the teenagers are better off without Nish, considering the awful things he has done.
However, Denise continues to struggle in the aftermath of Nish’s arrest, and worries for the wellbeing of Avani, who has been particularly affected.
Will Denise be able to stay quiet, or will the guilt get the better of her?
