EastEnders star Charlie Brooks has reportedly split from her partner James Fuller.
The Janine Butcher actor subtly confirmed her relationship with the producer late last year with updates on social media, before confirming to The Sun last month that their relationship was “still early days”.
However, Fuller confirmed their “amicable” split this week while congratulating Brooks on her recent Dancing on Ice performance.
Commenting under an Instagram video of her latest performance with professional skater Eric Radford, he wrote: “Damn you guys are elegant, graceful and gorgeous! It’s a 10 for me! Can’t wait to see you skate again this Sunday!
“You are easily the coolest, most thoughtful, wonderful, amicable ex-girlfriend and current best friend that a boy could wish for.
“So glad to be on this journey with you. You got this, girl! So, so proud of you that words do no justice.”
“Looking forward to a game of Rummikub with you after you have won this show and before you start Chitty!” he added, referring to her upcoming return to the UK tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Digital Spy has reached out to a representative for Brooks for comment.
Last month, Brooks addressed whether any of her future plans involve a return to Albert Square, having left the soap at the end of 2022.
“I’m going straight back into Chitty Chitty Bang Bang for a while, and then I probably need a little bit of time off,” said the actor, who made her debut as the Childcatcher in the UK tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang last year.
However, she didn’t rule out the possibility of returning to the soap completely, adding: “And then we’re in talks about another theatre project at the moment, so I don’t know yet. I’m biding my time. So who knows.”
