EastEnders Spoilers for Next Week – 26th to 29th May 2025: Deadly Kidnap & Lake Horror
Next week in Walford, things take a shocking turn as a terrifying kidnap plot sends shockwaves through the Square, while a chilling discovery at a nearby lake sets the stage for heartbreak and devastation. As emotions boil over and secrets surface, some residents will find their lives changed forever.
A Sinister Kidnap Shakes the Square
Walford is plunged into chaos when a child suddenly goes missing, sparking a desperate search that leaves the community reeling. The victim? Little Lexi Pearce. After failing to return home from school, Ben and Lola’s worst nightmare becomes reality. At first, they suspect she’s just wandered off, but it soon becomes clear something far more sinister is at play.
The tension ramps up quickly as Denise, Sharon, and Phil rally behind the family, while Jack launches an informal investigation. Clues are scarce until a mysterious note arrives at the Mitchell house — a chilling message with a threat no one saw coming. The family realizes Lexi hasn’t just vanished — she’s been kidnapped.
As the hours tick by, Ben begins to unravel, blaming himself for letting his guard down. Meanwhile, Callum finds himself torn between professional duty and emotional turmoil, doing all he can to track down any leads. The Mitchells, never ones to sit back and wait, take matters into their own hands — and what they uncover could blow the whole investigation wide open.
But when a key suspect surfaces, the story takes an unexpected twist. A familiar face from Ben’s past may be involved — and their motives run deeper than revenge. Will the family get Lexi back before it’s too late, or will tragedy strike?
Horror at the Lake – A Gruesome Find
Elsewhere, a serene setting turns into a scene of horror when Martin and Stacey take a walk by the lake in an effort to reconnect. Their peaceful moment is shattered when they spot something floating in the water — and realize it’s a body.
The police arrive quickly, and the lake is cordoned off as a crime scene. The identity of the victim sends shockwaves through Walford — it’s Reiss Colwell. But how did he get there, and who wanted him dead?
Jean is beside herself with grief, refusing to believe Reiss could be gone. Her heartbreak is only compounded by the speculation that foul play was involved. As investigators dig into Reiss’s final days, a series of incriminating clues begin to emerge — pointing to more than one potential suspect.
Stacey finds herself in the crosshairs of suspicion after it’s revealed that she and Reiss had a heated argument days before his death. But she’s not the only one keeping secrets. Sonia, still struggling with the emotional fallout from her miscarriage, begins acting strangely, avoiding questions and retreating from her friends.
As the community grapples with the tragedy, DCI Keeble returns to oversee the investigation, determined to crack the case. Her presence causes tension, especially with the Mitchells, who fear she may be using the case to settle old scores.
Relationship Strains and Shocking Confessions
Meanwhile, Whitney and Zack’s relationship hits the rocks after Whitney discovers Zack has been hiding a huge secret. An anonymous letter reveals that Zack has been meeting with another woman — and while Zack insists it’s not what it seems, Whitney can’t help but fear the worst.
Torn between love and betrayal, Whitney confronts him in a fiery showdown at the café. Zack breaks down, admitting the woman is actually his ex, and he’s been helping her through a difficult time. But Whitney struggles to accept his explanation, especially after learning that the woman recently gave birth — and the baby could be Zack’s.
Elsewhere, Ravi continues to manipulate Nugget, pushing him to lie to Suki about his whereabouts. But when Suki catches Nugget sneaking back home late at night, she begins to suspect something’s going on — and her instincts tell her Ravi is behind it. Tensions escalate when Suki threatens to go to the police if Ravi doesn’t stay away from her family, setting the stage for a bitter war between them.
Bobby’s Dark Side Resurfaces
As the chaos unfolds, Bobby begins to spiral. Struggling with guilt over recent events and feeling like he doesn’t belong, he starts acting out. Kathy tries to intervene, but Bobby pushes her away. He reconnects with an old friend — one who encourages him to revisit his darker impulses.
When Bobby is caught trespassing near the lake crime scene, police begin to question his intentions. Is he just a troubled young man seeking clarity — or is something more sinister bubbling beneath the surface?
The Week Ends With a Devastating Cliffhanger
Just when it seems like things couldn’t get worse, another shock rocks the Square. During a vigil held for Reiss at the Queen Vic, the crowd is stunned when a new piece of evidence surfaces — a bloodied item belonging to Lexi, found near the lake.
The revelation sends Ben into a frenzy, convinced that whoever harmed Reiss also has Lexi. As panic spreads, the screen fades to black with the ominous sound of police sirens in the distance and Sharon receiving a cryptic phone call — a voice whispering, “You’ve been warned.”
