EastEnders’ Natalie Cassidy has washed Sonia Fowler right out of her hair – quite literally.
The actress has debuted a new look as her on-screen exit as the iconic character looms.
After quitting the BBC soap in January, 32 years after her debut, Natalie is believed to have now filmed her final scenes.
To celebrate, Natalie has treated herself to a makeover, which she debuted on Instagram on Monday.
Posting on her Stories, the star can be seen with much lighter hair than she has sported on screen as Sonia.
‘New hair don’t care,’ she wrote.
Natalie announced her exit earlier this year, saying in a statement: ‘I feel extremely sad to be writing this, but also very excited

‘After another 11 solid years back on The Square, I have decided it’s time to move on to pastures new. EastEnders is in my bones so I will never forget where I started my career and I will continue to love the show.
‘Thank you to Chris Clenshaw for the opportunity to be such a big part of the 40th anniversary – it’s an honour. See ya, Sonia, going but never forgotten.’
Natalie debuted as Sonia back in 1993 and stayed on Albert Square for 14 years.

After a short return stint between 2010 and 2011, Natalie reprised her role as Sonia full-time in 2014.
While it is not yet known exactly how Sonia will leave the Square, she could likely leave with Bianca, as Patsy’s latest guest stint is also set to come to an end.
Patsy and Natalie had a joint leaving party with cast and crew over the weekend, while Patsy has also bid farewell to her character in a post on Instagram.

‘Bye bye B. Always grateful to see her again,’ she wrote on her Stories.
