EASTENDERS fans demand bosses to axe “horrible” and
“spiteful” character for good – despite playing a
major part in Dean’s trail.
Bernadette ‘Bernie’ Taylor is currently involved in Dean’s trail for her brother Keanu Taylor’s murder.

As Dean instructed, she has been sending threatening text messages and letters to The Six telling them to tell the truth.
She is convinced Sharon Watts killed Keanu and is prepared to shout it from the rooftops.
However, EastEnders fans have blasted the character and predict her exit is looming as the trial comes to an end.
Taking to X – formerly Twitter – one fan wrote: “I find Bernie quite spiteful, don’t like her eavesdropping and brand of gossip.”
Another added: “Can’t stand her and there’s nothing more her character can bring once this storyline is over.”
A third said: “Can’t stand BERNIE & her big GOB.”
A fourth penned: “I can’t stand her she is just horrible!!! And a bad actress!!!”
Bernie first arrived onto the square in 2017 as part of the Taylor family.
Her storylines have included miscarriage, taking diet pills, surrogacy, money problems and the many antics while working in the cafe.
However, none of her family are left in the square, which makes fans wonder why she is sticking around.
EastEnders’ Keanu Taylor’s body found by his horrified sister Bernie
Bernie’s sister Chantelle was murdered by her husband Grey Atkins, and their children left with Karen and Mitch Taylor as they took them under her wing.
Her brother Keanu was murdered by Linda Carter, and her other brother Keegan Baker left Walford to start a new life with his wife Tiffany Butcher.
Her other brothers, Riley and Chatham, no longer live on Albert Square.
Mitch also had another daughter, Bailey, with another woman who grew closer to Bernie but has also left the square.
As soap lovers will recall, Nish was fuming at Suki after discovering she had an affair with Eve, causing her to flee from him. She ended up locked in at The Queen Vic with Denise, Linda, Kathy, Sharon and Stacey.
When Nish turned up, they let him in to speak with Suki and he pleaded with her to take him back, but she refused.
He then tried to grab Suki and drag her away, causing Denise to strike him over the head with a champagne bottle.
Nish collapsed to the floor and was mistakenly declared dead by Sharon, but Suki resuscitated him.
Moments later, with Nish still out cold, Keanu turned up, resulting in a violent struggle with the women that ended in his murder.
The Six then told police Keanu had attacked Nish from behind, before running away.
While Nish didn’t witness the killing, some fans say it’s strange he was not called in for questioning to provide a background to what happened.
One wrote on Reddit: “I’m seriously surprised he hasn’t been brought in for questioning given the fact he was also in The Vic during Christmas Day?”
“Yeah, that is a bit odd,” another wrote.

A third detective in the making said: “Hold on, they said Keanu hit Nish but surely Nish would remember something about it? Like when he came in angry at Suki.”
