EastEnders‘ Denise Fox has made a huge confession to Ravi Gulati, regarding his father Nish Panesar.

Nish was imprisoned last month after pleading guilty to the murder of Keanu Taylor, even though it was Linda Carter who fatally stabbed him last Christmas.

While being taken to a hospice, Nish recently managed to escape. He is currently hiding out in a Walford apartment, with only Nugget aware of his whereabouts.

Denise has been on edge since Nish escaped from prison, after she helped cover up Keanu’s murder. Ravi has also been anxious, as he believes his dad is guilty and is worried about the safety of his family.

Last night (December 19), Denise and Avani were left in a state of panic after being threatened by two masked men in the salon, who were carrying out Nish’s orders.

Tonight’s episode saw Denise throw Avani out of the salon after learning about her defiant social media post, which had lured the men to her workplace.

“I think you need to go, and don’t come back,” Denise said, before frantically locking the door behind her.

After consoling his daughter, Ravi went to confront Denise, but found her in the middle of a panic attack. “It’s Nish, he’s coming for me,” she repeated.

Once Denise had calmed down, Ravi asked her to explain why she was so scared of Nish returning to the Square.

“What I don’t understand is why you thought my father would be coming for you at all,” he said.

Denise initially brushed the question off, explaining that she “didn’t know” what she was saying during her heightened state of panic.

“What is it you ain’t telling me, Denise? You need to tell me the truth,” urged Ravi, to which Denise screamed: “You’re suffocating me!”

“You never know what you’ll do in the heat of the moment,” she then said, before admitting to being responsible for Nish getting hospitalised last Christmas.

“That night, last Christmas, the night that Nish was rushed to the hospital. That was down to me, but I didn’t have any choice,” she revealed. “I could see what he was gonna do to Suki, he would’ve killed her, I promise you that. No question.”

Denise then explained that Nish had found out about her role in the attack a few months ago, making her a prime target.

“If he’s out there on some vendetta, then there’s my name in this mess as well,” she said, just as Ravi stormed out, head spinning. Will Ravi find out what really happened to Keanu?
