SHOCKING NEWS!!! EastEnders’ Danny Dyer reunites with on-screen mum Linda Henry for Sky comedy

Danny Dyer’s EastEnders on-screen mum Linda Henry is set to join him in the second series of the hit comedy Mr Bigstuff.

Soap star Danny, Brassic star and series creator Ryan Sampson, and Big Boys’ Harriet Webb are all returning for the second instalment of the show, which is due to premiere this July on Sky and NOW.

The first series saw Danny scoop his inaugural BAFTA TV award for his portrayal of Lee Campbell, the estranged brother of Glen, played by Ryan. Set in suburban Essex, the sitcom quickly became a fan favourite, earning the title of Sky Max’s highest-rated new original comedy in three years.

The upcoming series picks up a fortnight after the bombshell revelation that the brothers’ father isn’t actually dead, with Lee and Glen each grappling with the news in their own way. As the chaos escalates and questions mount, the brothers band together in a quest to find their dad.

Meanwhile, Kirsty’s taking the reins both in the bedroom and the boardroom, but an ill-timed smooch and a mysterious blackmailer threaten to topple her world.

With secrets spilling out and tempers reaching boiling point, it seems inevitable that the family will implode – yet again, reports the Mirror.

But the brothers aren’t the only ones stirring up trouble – sneak peek images reveal guest stars including Danny’s former EastEnders co-star Linda, who will be playing Pam.

Best known for her role as Shirley Carter in EastEnders, Linda reunites with Danny to portray Pam, a straight-talking, hands-on mechanic at the family haulage firm.

EastEnders icon Shaun Williamson, known for his role as Barry Evans, is set to make a guest appearance as an irate clown in the fifth episode.

Joining the second series are Ryan’s Brassic co-stars Tom Hanson and Parth Thakerar, along with Shobna Gulati (Coronation Street), David Mumeni (Stath Lets Flats) and Alan Ford (Snatch).

The returning cast includes Adrian Scarborough (Gavin and Stacey), Fatiha El-Ghorri (Taskmaster), Victoria Alcock (Bad Girls), Ned Dennehy (Peaky Blinders) and Clive Russell (Ripper Street).
