New EastEnders pictures reveal the moment Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) life crashes down around

her – as secrets explode on Christmas Day.

We’re edging ever closer to the spectacular festive reveal, that will see the Beale and the Knight families

torn apart by the news that Cindy has been engaging in an affair with her former step-son Junior (Micah Balfour) for months.

The fling began when Cindy plotted to win back her ex-husband George Knight (Colin Salmon), despite being engaged to first husband Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).

Her efforts proving unsuccessful, she then went onto she went onto bed Junior, with the two being caught by his uncle Kojo (Dayo Koleosho).

Terrified by what he saw, he ran off and climbed the emergency exit staircase at the community centre, with Cindy chasing after him.

A struggle broke out and he fell to the ground, being placed in an induced coma to aid recovery.

The altercation was witnessed by Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa), the girlfriend of her son Peter (Thomas Law).

Cindy clocked that she had stolen some of cousin Amy Mitchell’s (Ellie Dadd) medication to ease her pain from injuries sustained during the Peggy’s club crush, and decided that she could blackmail her into keeping quiet.

After meeting a drug dealer, Cindy approached Lauren’s flat with a gift – some pills. Lauren was shocked, but was more than happy to take them off her.

Following previous issues with addiction, and given she’s currently pregnant, this would go onto have devastating consequences when she was rushed to hospital with stomach pains.

Luckily, her unborn baby was fine, but another showdown with Cindy soon ensued and she admitted that she was worried about the child’s safety if she suddenly withdrew.

Earlier this week, we saw Lauren fall asleep after popping another pill and knock a candle to the floor – setting her flat ablaze.

Now, as spoiler pictures show – it’s not just the affair reveal that ruin’s Cindy’s Christmas.

At the Beale household, Peter pulls Lauren back from attacking his mum, who is stood beside Ian (Adam Woodyatt) and Louie (Jake McNally).

When Cindy gets too close, denying that she ever supplied her, Lauren snarls in her face and all hell breaks loose!

A further tense conversation in the Queen Vic barrel store shows Cindy pleading with Elaine Knight (Harriet Thorpe) not to expose her wrongdoings with Junior.
