EastEnders’ Cindy Beale has made a dangerous move as her attempted murder case continues to unfold.
This week, suspicion fell on Gina when it was revealed that she was responsible for throwing the brick through the window alongside a sinister threat for her mum.
She begged her family to believe that she didn’t attack Cindy but felt unable to disclose who she was with – even after George told her the mysterious truth about where he was that night.
However, when Cindy threatened to go to the police, Gina was forced to reveal that she slept with Freddie on Christmas Day, leaving Anna devastated.
In today’s episode, Gina tried to explain herself in the Square, but Anna lashed out at her sister. With the Beales watching on, Anna ended up revealing to everyone that she hid the shovel that was used to hit Cindy.
Later, Freddie found Anna to apologise and try and make things up to her. The pair shared a moment, but she admitted that she would never be able to get the image of him and Gina out her head.
Meanwhile, Ian was more determined than ever to phone the police, but Cindy was reluctant to report her daughter and wanted to do things her way.
The Beales headed to The Vic to confront George about the shovel, and he confirmed that he had moved it somewhere safe – but Junior secretly overheard the conversation.
George was persuaded to hand in the shovel to the police, but when he went to retrieve the weapon, he was shocked to discover that it was gone.
Terrified that someone still wants her dead, Cindy went to see Phil and asked him for a gun. While he refused to give her a weapon, she secretly noted down the code to the safe for future use.
With the Knights left concerned about what the future holds, it was revealed that Junior had stolen the shovel from The Vic and taken it back to his flat.
Does Junior have something to hide?
